NEW JOYSTICK CONTROL AND ASSISTANCE SYSTEMS
As with XPower® machines, a new joystick control is available as an optional extra on the mid-range wheel loaders. When operating with great maneuverability, it ensures fuel savings and comfortable work, because the short movements of the ergonomic joystick replace the intensive steering wheel rotation. At the same time, the left arm still rests on the comfortable armrest even when changing direction.
The new joystick control is intuitive, because the position of the joystick always corresponds to the angle of rotation of the wheel loader joint. Together with the joystick feedback, it ensures an optimal driving experience. In combination with joystick control, customers can order an operator’s cab without a steering wheel and without a steering column, unless road approval is required. The spacious cab without a steering wheel offers even more space.
Liebherr offers all the assistance systems of large XPower wheel loaders also to the new mid-range wheel loaders series. These include, for example, active detection of persons at the rear of the machine, weighing equipment for truck payload assistance, an integrated tire pressure monitoring system or adaptive work lights. There is also an area control in front of the machine and a Skyview 360° camera. With these assistance systems, the construction machine manufacturer delivers comprehensive solutions for new mid-range wheel loaders with the aim of optimizing safety and comfort in everyday work.
