Schwarzmüller leads the way

Schwarzmüller

The Austrian company Schwarzmüller belongs to the foremost manufacturers in Europe in the segment of tip-up trucks.

Schwarzmüller connects robustness with the basis of its business – light construction and unique variability of their products. 150 years of experience and mature know-how has been able to develop abilities that are especially valuable, such as: a unique technical solution of stability during tipping.  Intelligent design of fame can take care of Schwarzmüller trucks being able to stand without a movement even if the centre of gravity moves up during tipping.  The use of Naxtra steel and special constructional elements prevents torsion of frame and the whole vehicle acquires unexpected stability during the process of tipping. This type of frame can, at the same time, contribute to lowering of vehicle’s weight. The Schwarzmüller company has been for decades a pioneer of progressive designs and, in many areas, has been developing the lightest vehicles. This know-how has been also used for these tip-up vehicles, for example in the form of currently the lightest design of heat isolated tipper that is on the market.

Robust and light at the same time

Even though light parts were used for the manufacture, the Schwarzmüller vehicles do not lose their robustness. For each kind of transported material the Czech – Austrian manufacturer guarantees an optimal type of vehicle. The steel tipping superstructures Schwarzmüller are made from material Hardox which stands out for its extraordinary resistance against wearing out. The use of aluminium components has lowered the weight to a maximum degree during the design of light vehicles.

According to the use and target weight, customers can choose between aluminium and steel undercarriage and superstructure – this is an advantage that makes the products of the Schwarzmüller company really different. The equipment of intelligent technologies is delivered by the producer. An example are the dumps that will put the transported goods exactly in the silo, but also a special batching device that can control the batched loose material. Another example are the controlled axles for better manoeuvrability, especially in tight places. It is possible to equip the vehicle with a construction with tarpaulin covering and to electronically control it with a remote control from the driver’s cab. Thermo-isolated tipping superstructure with intelligent control of temperature or hydrodynamically propelled axle SAF-TRAK are also a possibility.
