NEW DOOSAN DX490LC-7 AND DX530LC-7 EXCAVATORS

Rypadlo Doosan

The Doosan Company has launched the new Stage V-compliant DX490LC-7 and DX530LC-7 50-ton crawler excavators. The new excavators deliver significantly higher performance compared to previous Stage IV models and set a new standard for the 50-ton class.

The new Scania Stage V engine with high performance

To meet emissions regulations for Stage V engines, the DX490LC-7 and DX530LC-7 are powered by a new Scania DC13 diesel engine, which delivers a higher output of 294 kW (394 hp). Scania’s engine offers a new solution that exceeds the requirements of the Stage V emission standard thanks to the highly efficient DOC / DPF + SCR aftertreatment technology, which ensures minimum emissions.

Best performance in the 50 ton class

For the DX490LC-7 and DX530LC-7, the improved DC13 engine performance is combined with the Virtual Bleed Off (VBO) hydraulic system (D-Ecopower +) and the new generation of Smart Power Control (SPC3) technology, resulting in an overall 11% increase in fuel efficiency. Increased pump capacity and higher engine power increase productivity by up to 8%, giving new models the best performance in their class.

Both machines now have four power modes that help simplify the operation of new excavators compared to the more comprehensive selection of eight power modes and SPC combinations on the previous generation of machines. The operator can set the power mode (P+, P, S or E) in one-way and two-way operating mode.

Increased comfort and maneuverability

The new cab of the DX490LC-7 and DX530LC-7, in addition to being spacious and ergonomic, takes operator comfort and ease of use to an unprecedented level. As with the new 30-40 tonne Stage V models, the cab has a new high-quality seat and more features than other machines on the market, ensuring excellent handling and high accuracy in all applications.
