Implementation of an innovative product in the form of aircraft aluminum structures at the Metikam-Stone company.<\/strong> <\/p>\n\n\n\n

<\/div>\n\n\n\n

Where aviation aluminum finds its most widespread use, is encoded in its name already. The Metikam-Stone company has come up with yet another application for this material. It has been used as a material for an innovative construction – an aluminum crane with a load capacity of 1,000 to 1,500 kg.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The production of this innovative product made of aviation aluminum required the use of a laser cutter equipped with a high accuracy and precision laser device. Metikam is the first entity on the Polish market to have processed aviation aluminum using a laser cutter.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The new product is intended for transport industry, stone factories and other companies that need to lift and carry heavy loads on a daily basis. The new crane made of aviation aluminum is used to lift and move objects with a maximum weight of 1,000 kg or 1,500 kg in two product versions: with a rail in the length of either 4 or 5 meters.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Metikam chose to make use of aviation aluminum for several reasons. The main advantages of this material (in comparison with structures made of ordinary aluminum) are: significantly lower weight with a simultaneous increase in heaving power. And there is another benefit to it: aviation aluminum does not require so frequent maintenance.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Compared to other types of structures that are currently available on the market and are made of ordinary aluminum, the new product is distinguished by the following parameters:
\u2013 reducing weight of the structure by up to 30% (the structure only weighs 68 kg)
\u2013 the heaving power of the structure is up to 50% greater than when using ordinary aluminum.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The supporting beam used with the crane has a specially designed cross-section to allow for loads of up to 1,500 kg to be lifted while reducing the weight of the profile at the same time. The device also makes use of the innovative KIPP fastening system which will allow the support bases to be positioned anywhere, without the necessity of having to move the entire support beam, as is usually the case with other products. An additional advantage of this type of fastening is the closing time of the system, which literally takes seconds.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Another advantage of this solution is the possibility of placing the crane on uneven surfaces. This is possible thanks to level adjustment together with an adjustable height and width range.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The fact that the whole structure is made of aviation, not ordinary, aluminum, makes the whole structure very flexible and, at the same time, safe. The use of this material may allow for a slight deflection under the load, which is due to plasticity of the construction material and it does not have any effect on the load capacity of the structure. After lowering the load, the particular element of the structure will return to its original form. An additional advantage of this innovative product is does not require maintenance, merely annual inspection, which will be offered by the manufacturer.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The product has a CE certificate and conforms to all the necessary standards. The most important advantage of the crane for a potential customer is, no doubt, its price, which is a factor which sometimes plays a decisive role in the purchase, and Metikam-Stone stood up to the task even in this respect. The cost of this innovative device in the promotion amounts to 4,500 – 4,800 PLN net for the versions with a 4 m or 5 m long beam, respectively. The set includes a trolley with a chain drive and a winch.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
