Natural stone is certainly the most natural partner for all plants in the garden. For example, in large grassy areas, a pathway composed of untreated stones of larger dimensions looks great. If you want your garden to look natural and not lose any of its natural character, make sure to choose a natural stone for laying walkways.<\/strong><\/p>\n

Do not forget the overall concept<\/h4>\n

Whether you are thinking of a stone pathway, or even an entire stone terrace, remember that everything must look as natural as possible. The overall view of such places in the garden must not be disturbed by improper color selection or incorrect material structure. Also plan the individual functional zones well. This means a functional utility, but also a decorative and access part. It is good to realize that the pathway, which does not always lead straight to the finish line, always looks more pleasant and also seems longer.<\/p>\n

What you have to reckon with<\/h4>\n

For one person who will walk on the pathway, a path width of 75 cm will suffice. For two people, the distance between the edges of the walkways should be at least 130 cm. If it is a building of an entrance to the garage, it must be at least 250 cm wide. If you take into account these dimensions, then it is enough to choose the type of paving and consider its availability. Walking on the walkway to the house must be safe in all circumstances and under all weather conditions. So choose materials with a rough surface.<\/p>\n

Beware of falling through and protruding stones<\/h4>\n

When mowing the grass, protruding stones in the garden could interfere with you, but the problem could also occur if they descend. So expect the stones to descend after some time after laying due to subsidence. However, the danger for the mower is rather protruding stones.<\/p>\n

Structure and color of the material<\/h4>\n

You can also pave the garden path with smaller irregular stones. It will take a little more patience, but it will pay off. In this case, a very hard rusty-brown quartzite is used, which acts well as a curb of pavement paved with gravel. Stone terraces can be laid out, for example, from pieces of cut granite and a concrete screed can be used as a base.<\/p>\n

What a properly chosen planting can do<\/h4>\n

You may not even want to believe it, but the truth is that the right greening of the pathwalk and well-thought-out planting of greenery can cover up the architect’s mistakes. However, beware of incorrect greening, as this will make the mistakes stand out.<\/p>\n
