Komatsu Europe introduces the new D71-24 dozer with Hydrostatic Transmission (HST), which meets the Euro V emission standard. Available in EX, EXi, PX and PXi configurations, this is an all-new model in Komatsu’s range of dozers and is the ultimate in versatility.<\/strong><\/p>\n

Energy-saving engine<\/h4>\n

Operating weights of the D71EX-24 \/ PX-24 range from 22,600 to 24,000 kg with a bucket capacity of up to 5 m3. The fuel-efficient Komatsu engine, which meets Euro V emission limits, delivers 179 kW \/ 240 hp at 2,100 rpm.<\/p>\n

Excellent durability and functionality<\/h4>\n

The D71-24 is equally adept at precise high-speed ground levelling as it is at rough grading. It is designed to provide excellent durability and functionality, thanks to its high-capacity, wear-resistant plough blade. The dozer’s Parallel Link Undercarriage System (PLUS) incorporates rotating inserts to help minimize maintenance downtime and reduce costs to the machine owner.<\/p>\n

The EXi and PXi versions use second-generation intelligent machine control (iMC 2.0), which continuously scans the site and uses the data to plan the next move. The D71-24 represents a huge increase in productivity and accuracy and can operate in automation modes almost continuously. Equipped with one-touch ergonomic controls, it allows any operator to drive like a professional.<\/p>\n
